All About Me

Ahoy there, mates!  My name is Kim Lazik and I am part of the FDES Literacy Crew.  Along with my teaching assistant, Renee Morton, I have the pleasure of teaching differentiated instruction to first grade students.  I obtained my undergraduate degree from the University of Akron in a 1991 and went on to receive my Master's Degree and National Board Certification in 2ooo. Currently, I am in my 16th year of teaching.  My husband and I live in Summerville and our twin boys attend kindergarten at FDES. In my spare time I enjoy biking, boating and going to the beach...really anything that gets me outside.  I am truly looking forward to working with this year's first grade students and helping them discover the treasure of reading.
